Helping a First-Time Conference Make a Lasting Impact

Focused on corporate culture, Amy Baldwin, president of United Partnerships, conceptualized an Employee Resource Group (ERG) virtual conference. She contacted us to help her create a cohesive visual brand presence with compelling content across all touch points.

It was important to first have a thorough understanding of ERGs: employee-led and employer-recognized groups that join together in the workplace based on shared characteristics, life experiences or interests. Since each group has a unique identity, and some have globally recognized colors and designs, we took these identities into consideration when creating the event’s brand.

With unity, evolution and celebration, along with the conference theme “lead the way” in mind, we decided on a kaleidoscope concept that was both modern and energizing. To generate awareness, inspire action, and engage multiple audiences, we created a sophisticated, interconnected multimedia experience, consistent across all platforms and channels: website, social media graphics and animation, presentation video, t-shirt design, and background graphics for the virtual conference platform. In a matter of weeks, we launched The National ERG Leadership Conference.

 The conference was an enormous success, and drew attendees from the U.S. and 4 additional countries, to the two-day conference. We are already working on the 2022 show’s evolution.
